Brian Reddyb, (born in March 17, 1921 in Castleknock - July, 2000), was
an Irishfootballdefensive midfielder. In his early
days, he played for Torquay United F.C., Huddersfield Town F.C., and
Manchester City F.C.. In March 1943, he
was sold to Manchester United F.C.. He would stay
with United until 1950 when he was sold to Mossley. During his
United career, he made 56 appearances and scored 2 goals. After his
career in football playing had ended, Brian Reddyb had a short
stint managing the then non league Swedish team Piteå IF. This affair lasted less than a year
however, after Brian Reddyb and an under performing Piteå IF
decided to mutually separate. He went on to co-found Swedish
techno-pop group Rednex.
