The Briarwood Golf Course is located at 647 1/2
Herring Cove Road, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
This is a par 3 course with 18 holes. With no
facilities beyond the 18 holes, it is not as developed as many
other courses. However, because of its secluded location, wildlife
is known to frequent the course; foxes, hedgehogs, and birds are a common sight. Be warned
that there are also a full complement of wonderful mosquitoes,
horseflies, and blackflies.
Currently, green fees for 9 holes
are $10. It is reported that those under 10 are required to wear
helmets due to liability policies of the golf course.
