Having graduated from Maconaquah High School in 1998, Bobel went on to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Ball State University in 2002. She is currently working as Assistant Manager of Mall Marketing at Castleton Square Mall for the Simon Property Group. She has worked as an intern for the Majority Caucus of the Indiana General Assembly.

Her interests include traveling, reading, shopping, boating, baking, working out, going to the theater and watching reality TV.
