On July 31, 2007 Brightpoint closed its purchase of Denmark-based Dangaard Telecom A/S. Brightpoint had a 2008 revenue of $4.6 billion. With 3,000 employees and 25,000 customers in 26 countries, Brightpoint handled 84 million wireless devices globally[1] in 2008.
