Bristow Middle School http://www.whps.org/school/bristow/index.htm is a middle school in West Hartford, Connecticut. Bristow is also the newest Public School in West Hartford. It is noticeably smaller than the two other Middle Schools in West Hartford, with roughly 400 students. Like the other middle schools, there is a homeroom (called 'Advisory' at Bristow), academic core periods, electives such as art and wellness, lunch, world language (either Spanish or French), a Learning lab and academic support. The school mascot is the Bulldog.
Bristow opened on September 1st, 2005.
To become a student at Bristow, you have to enter a lottery-like program that happens at each elementary public school in West Hartford. Unlike to other two Middle Schools, Bristow's students represent all of the District's Elementary Schools.
