==Backyard Federation==

British Championship Wrestling - originally a British Backyard wrestling federation founded on June 1st 2000, with the event ironically titled 'May They Fight'. Starting with 4 active wrestlers, Drusifer, RudeBoyDreas, Matty D and Nick Denham, the roster grew slightly.

Weekly tapings took place until Nick Denham tragically broke his arm on September 24th 2000. BCW triumphantly returned on February 11th 2001 (where Christophe Solaar would not return to defend his World Title) but events were limited to a monthly or less timescale.

Although never officially disbanding, BCW has not seen wrestling event since 'July Jiggery' on July 26th 2003.

British Championship Wrestling is a British Professional wrestling promotion based in Scotland. The promotion opened in 2003, and has been host to some of the biggest American independent stars, as well as British stars. Some of the names that have passed through BCW include Mick Foley, Chris Hero, Marty Jannetty, Doug Williams and Jonny Storm. The group promotes shows in the west of Scotland, in East Kilbride, Carluke, and Kilmarnock.
