Singer Prince Charmin', aka Britt Wynn, got his start in the
entertainment industry at a young age as a commercial screenwriter.
Hailing from the windy city of Chicago, he was among the first and
most successful young writing talents to emerge under the age of
18. Typically writing comedy, he explored what Master P dubbed "the
era of new film making," capturing his environment through a series
of comedic films which introduced a number of talented actors into
the Hollywood firmament.
When Britt was 14 years old, he was
signed to the now defunct Chicago Recording Company "Ty Shawn
Productions," a project which never fully took off. Prior to
exiting his teenage years, he took a break on music and penned
material for Hollyhood Cinema & Gutta Music. One of his movies
that experienced major success was "Repos," starring Master P,
Michael Blackson (The African King Of Comedy), Katt Williams
(Friday After Next / The Nick Cannon Show) and A.J. Johnson
(Friday).
After making his mark as a screenwriter on Master P's
Hollyhood Cinema, Prince now offers a glimpse into who he is today
as a young man. His first single, "One Date" (produced by platinum
producers “DA RIFFS” (G-Unit, Method Man, RedMan, Slim Thugg, John
Madden, MOP), allows listeners to check his style and the Prince
Charmin' swagger.
Looking toward the future, Prince envisions
his multi-layered career in terms of chapters of a never-ending
fairy tale that includes songwriting, screenwriting, producing,
acting and an openness to explore anything else that his schedule
permits.
Currently, Prince is working on a Television Series
for the Disney Channel entitled Calvin & Freddie’s Cosmic
Encounters, starring Zachary Isaiah Williams and his older brother
Oren Williams, produced by Troy Rowland, Rugg Williams, and Sabina
Cabe. The first pilot was shot and directed by Eric Dean Seaton. It
was written by Prince & Dimonique Davis.
