Broken is a demo tape released by Canadian singer-songwriter Matthew Good. It was recorded in the bedroom of a friend of a friend of Good's, Steve Codling, in Surrey, British Columbia in late 1992 following the breakup of Good's former band, The Rodchester Kings. These recordings would later become part of a compilation called "History Teacher," that was released illegally in an attempt to capitalize on the newfound success of the Matthew Good Band in the mid-1990s.
