Broken Bells is the self-titled debut album from James Mercer of indie rock band The Shins and producer and multi-instrumentalist Brian Burton, was released on March 9, 2010. The album was leaked to internet file-sharing sites on December 22, 2009. [1]

The first single from the album, "The High Road", was offered as a free download from the band's website on December 21, 2009 before being officially released on December 22, 2009.[2] The entire album is currently available for streaming at TORO Magazine Online.[3]
