The film is set in New York City where a woman in her late thirties has little luck finding love until she meets Julien, a quirky Frenchman, who sweeps her off her feet and opens her eyes to a lot more than love.
The film screened at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival, and ultimately garnered five award nominations, among them the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Screenplay.[2]
