Brothers Cemetery is a historic family cemetery
which was originally a parcel of land belonging to Francis Brothers in
Rutherford County, Tennessee. In 1845, Francis was the first Brothers family member
buried there followed by his wife, Sarah Jane Penn in 1856. On his tombstone is the inscription,
"Francis Brothers d. 1845 Age 66." On hers is "Sarah consort of F.
Brothers d. 1856 Age 70."
