Bruce B A.K.A Jason Land was born April 20 1982, in Windsor ON, Canada.
This musically gifted and witty artist makes his debut into the rap scene in early 1997 with Shut 'em Down Records.
This local label releases True Independence, a collaboration of Windsor artists.
The album gives Bruce a solid fan base and recognition in the street.
After leaving Shut 'em Down Records in 1999, he partners with Reveal, and forms the group Black Listed.
Together they produce Ontario’s Finest which is a combination of Bruce’s clever metaphors and original beats.
The album features the hits Come get Some and Bump.
However, the duo restricts his independence, so in September 2001, Bruce founds R.A.W Records.
Now as the owner of his own label, Bruce signs LeeRoc and the two form the group currently known as IMC.
IMC releases the hit album Perfect Chemistry, which features Tear it Up and Infinite Bars which are huge hits with fans and establishes the label as one of the best in Windsor.
In 2002 R.A.W Records releases Bruce’s first solo project, the highly anticipated album Ready and Willin'.
The album creates a huge buzz in the street and gives Bruce the credibility needed to make him a underground legend.
Soon after, he decides to add variety to the label's sound and signs local R&B singers D.Smith and Victoria Z.
The two add just the right amount of flavour and are on hits like Please Me and I Love Ya.
In 2003, he also signs local stars Nekos and J-Rize of the group X.E. to the R.A.W. label.
Later in the year, they release Street Value which proves to be extremely successful.
Bruce's projects don't stop there, he joins forces with Windsor rapper Kannibalistik to do the Formation of the Cult Compilation which broadens his fan base and has huge internet success.
This amazing rapper, producer and musical genius will not fade away either, he will continue to change the way Windsor feels, listens and appreciates hip hop forever.
