Dr. Bruce Sigurd Heischober, known as Dr. Bruce, is a Board certified [1] medical doctor specializing in Emergency and Internal medicine.
He graduated from Loma Linda University in 1979.[2]
On the radio show Loveline Dr. Bruce frequently sat in for Drew Pinsky and was called Dr. Bruce (or sometimes Dr. Spaz) by Adam Carolla. He is not to be confused with Dr. Bruce Hensel, who is a medical, health and science reporter for KNBC, a television station in Los Angeles.
Dr. Bruce appears from time to time as a guest on Adam Carolla's daily podcast. On the August 2, 2009 episode Adam discussed co-signing for a loan to purchase a laser for a now defunct spa that was being owned by Adam's wife Lynette and Jimmy Kimmel's ex-wife Gina Maddy. On the November 20, 2009 episode, Bruce called in and discussed how he had accidentally ended up with Adam Carolla's checkbook.
