Bruce Farley Mowat (born October 10, 1960, Brantford, Ontario) is a Canadian music journalist, broadcaster, and archivist.

He has written for the The Globe and Mail, Canadian Press, Toronto Eye Weekly, The Hamilton Spectator (1992-1999), In Music We Trust (U.S.), Black To Comm (US), The Hamilton Sun (2005) and Hamilton Magazine. He released Cyborgs Revisited, a posthumous collection of recordings by Hamilton, Ontario's Simply Saucer in 1989 on his own Mole label.

He has written liner notes for various recordings, including releases by The Flamin Groovies, the 22 original Hits! 22 Original Stars CD compilation, and the 1993 Cows Go Mu compilation CD. During the late 1980s, he briefly dabbled in artist management, handling the careers of such local bar bands as The Hated Uncles & The Sinister Dude Ranch. Bruce took on the artist management gig because of Southern Ontario's band Teenage Head, whose member Dave Rave provoked him into it.
Voted into the CFMU-FM (McMaster University radio station) Volunteer Hall of Fame in 1999, Mowat still dabbles in radio; his monthly internet show, the e-Mole Radio Hour, can be found at www.creativeradiocentral.com and occasionally he turns up at McMaster radio on a guest basis.
