Bryan Mastergeorge (born May 6,
1987) is the guitarist of
The Ordinary
Summer, drummer of Drivin' Fetus, and guitarist/vocalist for
The Happy Tokens. He was born and partly raised in
Tashkent, the capital of
Uzbekistan. At the
age of 13, he was smuggled out of the country in the wheelwell of a
jumbo jet travelling to the
United States. Despite his troubled childhood,
Bryan managed to learn guitar from his host family.
Bryan is an
acclaimed
Islamic Fundamentalist.
Violence
in Tashkent
Bryan's mother was a
political
activist in Uzbekistan whose passion consisted of "fightin' the
power and gettin that b***h,
Islam Karimov, out of power", cites Bryan in a
recent interview with
Fuse TV.
Bryan's lyrical prowess is made evident in one of the songs that he
wrote for The Happy Tokens entitled, "This Is A Cosby Sweater".
After the song obtained mass broadcast from the pirate radio
station,
Sealand,
Mastergeorge received a call from his mother, five years after his
desperate evacuation in an airplane's wheelwell.
Strange
Fetish
According to past girlfriend,
Jennifer Chiba, Bryan
has an odd love of eating sandwiches while performing
sexual
intercourse. He once attempted the trifecta by listening to a
Yankees-Red Sox game while
getting jiggy with it.
