Dole created the first HTML bicycling resource web page, called the WWW Bicycle Lane in 1993.
Initially hosted out of Purdue University.
The site was moved to it's own domain, Bikelane.com, in 1997.
He co-founded the Open Directory Project with Rich Skrenta, Bob Truel, Chris Tolles, and Jeremy Wenokur in 1998.
Dole created a free online wine tracking web site called BottleCount.com in 2000.
