Started in the fall of 1995 by Michael Burrows and Erich Kraus, the group was
originally named "Cadence," but underwent serious changes during
its first semester, leading to a reformation of the group under the
name "Buffalo Chips."
Their first concert was the V-Day show in February 1996.
It has been tradition that the Chips hold two shows every year:
Fall Jam and V-Day in the fall and spring semesters
respectively.
These shows are chips staples and favorites with it's
fanbase.
They have also sung the National Anthem before games of the
Buffalo
Bulls.
The Chips put on several shows each year, and often make
appearances both on and off campus.
They have also released seven albums to date, and are presently
recording their newest album, entitled "All In," with Freddie
Feldman of VOCOMOTION.
