Built NY Inc, also known as BUILT, is located in the SOHO neighborhood of New York City. BUILT designs totes, bags, and housewares. Started in 2002, the privately held company [1], is best known for its use of the material Neoprene [2] and its product Design Team's work. BUILT was awarded gold International Design Excellence Awards in 2004 and 2005 respectively for its Two Bottle Toteand Lunch Tote designs respectively [3].

BUILT is often cited for its efforts in Intellectual Property rights for small businesses and has over 180 patents and registrations in process, or issued, around the globe. [4]

Products and Designs

Since its first product launch, BUILT has expanded its line into five core areas: Totes (lunch bags, wine carriers, reusable shopping bags); Electric (laptop sleeves, computer bags, phone cases); Home (corkscrews, ice buckets, wine collars) Baby (bibs, bottle totes, lunch boxes); and Munchlers (illustrated kid's lunch bags).
