Bundaberg Regional Council is a Local Government Area in Queensland, Australia that has ten divisions, with 59,576 people enrolled to vote. The council formation is a result of a recommendation by the Local Government Reform Commission, announced in July 2007, and was created in March 2008 via a process of Amalgamation. Lorraine Pyefinch is the first mayor of the Bundaberg Regional Council.

The new Council, located in the Wide Bay region of Queensland, contains the entire area of four previous Local Government Areas;

The report recommended that the new local government area should be divided into wards and elect ten councillors and a mayor. The Bundaberg Regional Council covers an area of 6,451 square kilometres (2,491 sq mi), contain an estimated resident population in 2006 of 86,364 and have an estimated operating budget of AUD89m.

The Regional Council covers the city of Bundaberg and the towns of Apple Tree Creek, Avondale, Bargara, Booyal, Burnett Heads, Buxton, Childers, Elliott Heads, Gin Gin, Innes Park, Isis Central, Moore Park, Tirroan, Wallaville and Woodgate.
