Butriptyline (Evadene, Evadyne, Centrolese, Evasidol) is a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) which has been used in Europe since 1974.[1][2][3][4] It produces similar effects to amitriptyline, but with less marked side effects like sedation and orthostatic hypotension.[1][4]
