Bygfoot is an open source football management game. It runs on GNU/Linux, other Unix-like systems and Windows. The latest stable version is 2.0.1, released in October 2006. Version 2.1.1 was released in March 2007.

The games has one playing as a manager of a football team, training the players, buying and selling them, contracting loans, maintaining the stadium, and so on. Teams can be promoted or relegated, and a player can be fired if their skills are not up to scratch. It is customisable by users, and contributors have added most of the world's major football leagues. Due to copyright restrictions[149], it doesn't contain actual team and player names, although the chosen names are close enough to be clear.

Bygfoot follows in the tradition of games such as Football Manager and is the most notable open source game of its genre.

After releasing 2.0.1, developer Gyözö Both indicated that he'd be stepping down from involvement in the game[150]. Development has been taken over by Mark Lawrenz [151].
