The CCAPU is a softball organization based in the Midwest. It stands for Carlson & Carver Active Participants for Underachievers. Most of the staff is made up of parents with a few exceptions such as the singer songwriter Dan Murphy. It was founded in 1992 by Roy Carlson who is from Missouri and Jay Carver who is from Nevada. It is currently dormant but has plans to start again in early 2009.

Reports of scandal involving Jay Carver and an unidentified third-party are unconfirmed, and the person that sustained minor burns has healed and released from interrogation.
