CCPHOTOART.biz is the creative collaboration between Christie Goodwin and Patrick Cusse . Their photography is widely acknowledged by the music industry, mainly for being raw and full of emotions, a breath of fresh air in the otherwise cliché concert photography of clean cut emotionless pictures.

Guitar legend Joe Satriani says of them: "With their photographs, Patrick Cusse and Christie Goodwin have the ability to capture the way a live performance actually feels to the performer. Their work is emotionally charged and stunningly evocative."<ref>http://www.ccphotoart.biz/gallery_117414.html</ref>

Blues guitarist Hamilton Loomis says:"Patrick and Christie's photos are simply amazing... Their pictures aren't just photos, they are art." <ref>http://www.ccphotoart.biz/gallery_117414.html</ref>

Jazz & blues pianist Jon Cleary says: "Patrick and Christie seem to really be able to represent in an image the intensity of a live show, you get the feeling that not only were you there but that you were on the stage next to the musicians. You can almost hear the music coming out of the picture." <ref>http://www.ccphotoart.biz/gallery_117409.html</ref>

Career

Goodwin began taking photographs from the age of 12 and after finishing her studies at the academy, she became a regular reportage photographer for various news agencies. In 2005 she teamed up with Cusse who was an award winning newspaper editor and page designer. Soon after their encounter they decided to join forces and move into “live concert photography”, more or less accidentally. Cusse had contacted the management for the reknowned English rock band Status Quo, also known as The Quo or just Quo, to introduce Goodwin’s photography, and soon they were offered a shot at their live concert, which she reluctantly accepted. CCPHOTOART’s artwork ended up being used on the album “ Party ain’t over yet”, “2006”, in Quo’s tour brochure and on some of Quo’s merchandise. <ref>http://www.statusquo.co.uk/quosite.htm</ref>

Shortly after their introduction into live concert photography, CCPHOTOART.biz were noticed by Joe "Satch" Satriani, one of America’s greatest guitarists and former guitar instructor. Joe Satriani was truly impressed by the art photography which CCPHOTOART had produced of his live concerts. It was no surprise when he released a DVD in 2006 of his Live Concert Tour - Satriani Live!, he included a slideshow of CCPHOTOART’s pictures on the DVD. <ref>http://www.satriani.com/2004/discography/Satriani_Live/promo/</ref>

In 2006, Goodwin and Cusse toured the United States where they worked for the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Cheap Trick, Foghat, Joe Cocker and Queen & Paul Rodgers. While touring they also established themselves within the Motorcycle business with their motorcycle photography www.ccbikeart.biz. <ref> http://www.ccbikeart.biz/</ref>

In 2007 CCPHOTOART.biz returned to the United Kingdom where they continued to collaborate with some great artists offering their artwork for their albums and promotional support. They collaborated with The Quo on their latest album, “In Search of the Fourth Chord”, which was released on the band's own Fourth Chord label in September 2007. Their pictures were also used on the new releases of The Jyrojets, Jon Cleary, Seasick Steve, amongst others.

Style

CCPHOTOART.biz tends to eschew traditional concert photography, instead favoring a rawer look, often in sepia and black-and-white. Their photographs show raw emotions true to the artist and his music. Their concert photography captures the emotions of the musician and his music like no other. Their work is conceived in perfect unison: four eyes, one vision, totally unique in the world of photography.
CCPHOTOART.biz breaks the rules of the traditional concert photography where clean cut, sharp standard shots are favored, instead they explore the relationship of the artist with his instrument or his music. Their aim is to capture emotions of the umbilical chord between the artist and his/her music.
