Christopher Elliott (born in Brisbane, Australia, 18 December 1962) is an Australian Actor with The Actor's Agency Melbourne.[1] He grew up at 14 Sheldon Street Nudgee, Qld., and attended Virginia Primary School 1967-1974 and then Brisbane Grammar School 1975-1979.

In 1992, Christopher enrolled fulltime at Stella Adler Academy Of Acting in New York, famous for Alumni including Marlon Brando, Robert DeNiro, Melanie Griffiths. Christopher graduated in May 1995.[2] Having done mostly TV and film, Christopher returned to the Adler Conservatory in January 2008 to do a year's refresher in their fulltime Evening Conservatory classes, to sharpen his stage skills.[citation needed]
Christopher made an early television appearance in 1988 on Australia's Most Wanted as "The Floppy Hat Bandit". He has also been seen in Ratbag Hero, a television miniseries.[1], Animal Park, Time Trax - both the American Telemovie and an episode of the series, Backlands - a Telemovie based on a true story of the backpackers who disappeared in Queensland[3], and Thunderstone 3 filmed in 1999, in which Christopher portrays the regular role of goofy Agent Cummings who tries so hard to lay down the law, and is always being outwitted by a child prodigy.[4] He has also played major guest roles on Blue Heelers, Stingers, and other television series and has more recently ventured into film.
Christopher played a co-leading role in the American film Under Jakob's Ladder.[5] He plays the role of Nikolai, head of a 1943 Russian Prison Camp. The film was shot on location in Chester, New York in April/May 2009. Elliott first appeared in the 1989 film, "Flynn". In 2005 he was cast in a small role in the Australian film 'The Line' playing a corrupt anti-corruption officer. He is also heard as a voice of one of the letter writers in the 1998 film, The Dead Letter Office.
Christopher's first appearance on stage was in 1995 in New York Off Off Broadway in Pericles, and then in Cloud Nine. Then returning to Australia he was cast as the lead in Man of La Mancha, Six Degrees of Separation, and Amendment to Terror.
Christopher's hobby is songwriting, specializing in American Country Music and RnB. As a 17 year old, he used to sing at the Northern Suburbs Country Music Club, where he met Keith Urban who offered to play guitar for him when he sang.
