CHR Global was founded in 1980 by a team of senior professionals that included Late Dr. Ranjan Banerjee, former Vice Chairman, Hindustan Lever, Mr. Vasant Rajadhyaksha, former Chairman, Hindustan Lever, Late Mr. Manuel Menezes, former Chairman, Railway Board, Govt. of India & Late Mr. Mantosh Sondhi, former Union Industry Secretary, Govt. of India.
Mr.
Tapash Sengupta launched CHR Global Private Limited as a separate company in 1996, now renamed as CHR GLOBAL (HR SERVICES ) PRIVATE LIMITED.
Mr. Tapash Sengupta has pioneered the Executive Search Practice in India and is an acknowledged figure in the corporate world.
During the last 25 years in his Consulting career Mr. Sengupta has been responsible for induction of many Who is Who of Indian Corporates.
Mr. Sengupta, as a consultant, has worked with almost all the companies with a turnover of Rs.
1000 Crores and knows the Entrepreneurs personally.

Mr.
Tapash Sengupta's past grounding in Management Consulting also led him to believe that the true value of consulting could only be realized by addressing business issues through the lens of the customer and the employee.

Mr.
Tapash Sengupta Tapash launched Consindia HR Services in 1996, now renamed as CHR Global, and is its Managing Director.
Tapash heads the company's Executive Search Practice & Board Consulting Services Division.
He holds two postgraduate degrees in Economics and Management from Jadavpur University, Calcutta and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, respectively and secured ranks in both the places.
He started his career at IBCON & has more than 27 years of work experience, and has consulted many large public sector companies and almost all Indian Business Groups with turnovers exceeding Rs.
1000 crores.
He has worked for corporate in UK and Mauritius.
He was also the Managing Director of India's first Executive Search firm and is credited with assessing more than 175,000 executives during his distinguished recruiting career.
Mr.
Ajai Dayal Ajai is a Senior Director of CHR Global and heads the B2P (Business to People) Consulting Practice.
He is also directly responsible for research and new product development at the company.
He is a Chemical Engineer from IIT Kanpur, started his career at Unilever India, and after his initial stint of 5 years decided to pursue consulting as a career.
He has a total work experience of more than 28 years, was Lead Consultant with IBCON & then with ABC Consultants, and has core expertise in the areas of Strength Assessment, Job Recast & Evaluation, Organization Restructuring and Performance Management.
He has consulted process-engineering companies in Europe and has extensive exposure to the Public Sector Undertakings during his long consulting career.
He has been with CHR Global since 1997.
Mr.
Amal K Das Amal is a Senior Director of CHR Global and heads the Selection Services that focuses on Recruitment of Mid-Management & Entry Level Managers, HR Outsourcing activities, career counseling, etc. through a National Franchisee Model.
He holds two post graduate degrees in Economics and Business Administration from Lucknow University.
He has more than 27 years of experience in Human Resources both in Industry and Consulting.
He has expertise in the areas of Turnkey Recruitment, Competency Assessment, Training Design & Management Audits.
Prior to this he was the Director (Human Resources) at the Jindal Group of Companies & was also holding senior positions within the HR function at Shalimar Paints, Kolkata & Eicher Group of Companies.
Amal has been with CHR Global since 1996.
