Founded in 1965, CRA International is a global consulting firm. It provides a wide range of business, economic and litigation support services. Its global headquarters are in Boston, with offices in Europe and the Asia-Pacific. Majority of CRA's business in the USA derives form litiagation and economic consulting. CRA International changed its name in 2005, and was previously known as Charles River Associates.

CRA's expansion strategy fosuses on the acquisition of smaller firms such as Arthur D Little's Oil& Gas practice and the recent acquisition of Ballentine Barbera Group ( a global leader in valuation and transefer pricing services).

Although CRA relies heavily on acquisitions as a growth strategy, they have recently opened start up offices in the Kingdom of Bahrain and have several ongoing projects within the Middle East.
