Campbell Town Coalition a.k.a
C.T. Coalition and
C.T. Unit is
a prominent gang based in
Campbelltown, New South Wales,
Sydney,
Australia. The gang is relatively
new as compared to other well known gangs such as
the Bloods and
the Crips but has managed to earn
itself a strong reputation amongst the youth and young adults of
Sydney since its
co-founders Brendan XXX and Jordan XXX formed the gang in early
February of
2007. Since then, the gang has
massed over 150 members in its main Campbell Town cell as well as
over 100 others members in its branches throughout Sydney and is
becoming well known in the South-West Side of
Sydney. The gang has special significance in
Sydney Law enforcement as is give
authorities an example of a quick boom gang.
Authorities can analyse things such as gang structure etc. to
prevent further outbreaks in quick boom gangs.
Branches
One of the most recent branches of CT Coalition
is CTNB Unit, (Campbell Town Northern Beaches Unit) which is headed
by branch leaders Henson Zhang and Max Moratelli (aka. ȼøςα
ηøςŧŗα). The branch is beginning to rival other Northern Beaches
gangs such as The Narrabeen Lads, PSC and the Belrose Bullies. The
main CT cell gang's territory or
turf covers all of Campbelltown and the majority
of neighbouring suburb,
Leumeah. Because Campbelltown is a large area, a
large
Leumeah cell has
formed, the name of which is unknown. Several other cells also
exist throughout
Sydney
but are relatively unknown although their numbers continue to grow.
Branches are the main reason for the gangs rapid success and
domination. Their success also is due to their pro-active nature,
high member loyalty/activity and strong desicive attitudes towards
new operations, intruding
gangs and
peripheral members (who are not tolerated). CT
Coalition has recently been approached by the
Irish Mob who is intrested in up
and coming gangs as they were once such a gang.
Gang
Activities
CTCO, as it is colloquially known, is a
non-traditional, semi-entrepreneural, non-racial gang. The gang
conducts a wide range of operations throughout
Sydney, utilising its branch gangs and
associates to cover the large distances. Gang operations include
small time
anabolic
drug dealing, illegal gambling, co-ordinated violence
(
vendettas/vengance/claiming defending turf), and
theft.
Code of Honour
CTCO has a strict code of honour
that is adhered to very closely by all members of the gang. Though
the code is mostly unknown to authorities and the general public,
some of it is known. The code includes such rules as,
Profits to
the gangNo dual gang MembershipNo internal
disputesStealing should be done from affluent and given to
struggling CTCO families. (One of the major reasons for moving to
affluent Northern Beaches)History
Although the history
of CTCO is brief, in the gang's existance, there have been major
changes. The gang first started when Brendon XXX was stabbed by a
Leumeah South Unit member for reasons that are unknown.
This prompted Brendon XXX and Jordan XXX to start a small gang
known as
JB Unit in order to seek vengance. Once the gang
began to expand, it became known as the Warlords. The Warlords took
over Campbell Town and also won first turf for the gang by
defeating the rival gang
Leumeah South Unit in a fight in
Macathur Square and at Macathur Railway Station. Due to online
gaming connotations on the the name
Warlords, the gang
name was changed to
CT Unit. The gang name shortly changed
there after when other units were formed throughout the city. These
cells together with the original gang created a coalition of CT's
hence the present name
CT
Coalition.
