Filling250 grams of shredded ham finely cut
150 grams of shredded bacon finely cut
butter
2 beaten eggs
PreparationOn a table place the flour in a form of a crown, on the center place the salt, yeast, butter and sugar.
Mix with hands and add warm water little by little.
After about a minute of mixing, add the concentrated cheddar cheese and mix for about 10 minutes, or until you obtain a smooth and elastic dough.
Let the dough sit with a clean and humid towel covering it.
Put the shredded ham and bacon in a bowl and add a bit of butter.
If necessary, you may add a pinch of salt.
Refrigerate.
After about 30 minutes grab the dough and remove any bubbles or gases. smooth it out again and cut out about 50 grams of dough for each cachito.
Stretch them with help of a roller in a triangular form, placing the triangles on a greasy surface.
When all of the triangles have been extended, you may begin creating the cachitos.
Start by placing a bit of filling on the base of the triangle.
Fold the points of the base inwards and roll the dough around the filling.
Give it a half-moon shape and place it on a tray with a greased surface.
Once all the cachitos have been made, place them in an oven without turning the oven on until the size of the cachito doubles.
Once it has doubled in size, paint the outside with the beaten egg liquid thoroughly.
Heat the cachitos until the outside is a golden brown color.
Enjoy!
