The California College Democrats is the official college outreach arm of the California Democratic Party. It represents Democrats from college campuses across the state. It is part of the College Democrats of America.


History


CCD is known for such programs as its 2004 Reno/Las Vegas Campaign Invasion for John Kerry. The trip sent over 200 College Democrats to Nevada and was the largest of its kind in the country.

In 2005, CCD also was one of few official Democratic groups to call for the impeachment of President George W. Bush.
