Camano Island State Park (pronounced /kəˈmeɪnoʊ/) is a state park in Washington located fourteen miles (21 km) southwest of Stanwood on Camano Island in the Puget Sound. Created in 1949, the park covers 134 acres (0.54 km2) and has 6,700 feet (2,000 m) of shoreline. It took a day for volunteers from Camano Island to complete the initial work on the park.[1]
