Camp Mario
is a story series about Mario: the plumber, Yoshi: the dinosaur and Watt: the Sparky in a summer camp called Camp Koopa and have many zany adventures.

Characters

Main Characters

Mario: A fun loving, free-wheeling Plumber/hero, Mario is one happy camper. However, with all the rules, routine, and structure of Camp Koopa, Mario and his friends have a hard time fitting in with the locals (namely Bowser and Luigi). Mario's cheerful attitude and enthusiastic imagination towards solving problems doesn't always match Scoutmaster Bowser's idea of how things should be done.

Yoshi:
One of Mario's bunkmates at Camp Koopa, Yoshi is an dinosaur with some hang-ups. He hates a mess, cowers from snakes and bugs, and is afraid of being alone — which is perfect for summer camp! In spite of his fears, Yoshi sticks with his friends in their adventures because, like them, he loves fun, almost as much as his record collection. He speaks with an cheerful accent and likes marshmallows, and sometimes has to bring Mario down to earth. His secret ambition is to become a professional disc jockey, as shown in "Mario's Secret Club".

Watt:
A quirky, Sparky who got her knowledge and the items in his Jelly Bean cabin space from box tops, seemingly "four cents short of a nickel," Watt is actually a musical and academic genius and is often misunderstood by others, including Bowser. Always a protective friend, Watt loves thrill-seeking and chowing down on cereal...especially the kinds with cool prizes in the boxes. She usually speaks in thrid person.

Scoutmaster Bowser and Lemmy:
Scoutmaster Bower Doggy Koopa (THAT'S "BOW-SER!") is a frustrated stick-in-the-mud koopa who's selfish because everything has to be exactly how he likes it to be or else he'll have a huge tantrum. He really wanted to be Head Master Troop but is "stuck" in his job running Camp Koopa and making sure that no one — espically his least-favorite Koopa Scout, Mario and the rest of Goom Scouts — has any fun. He also has a crush on Shadow Scout leader Koopie Mother Koo Given the thankless job of being Bowser's assistant, Lemmy is a koopa as well and he's 15 years old. He knows the Koopa Scout manual cover-to-cover, is loyal, kind, obedient and generally keeps the camp running due to Scoutmaster Bowser's frequent hissy fits and constant laziness. Poor Lemmy has to do a lot of things, but he does love kids, particularly those of Goom Scouts, and sometimes acts like one of them. He's a master at shadow puppets and imitating Scoutmaster Bowser, and is also a race car afficionado.

Luigi Mario:
A stickler for the rules, Luigi holds a big, fat grudge against anyone who doesn't follows them. He's constantly coming up with schemes to spoil any fun that Mario and his pals might have, especially when in "Mario's Secret Club" where everyone except Mario was in an anti-Mario club. However, he agrees with Mario in "Rockin' Rex" that they need to get ol' Rexy back from the Shadow Scouts because Rexy's one of them.

Goomy and Goomboy, The Goom Twins:
These twins are smelly with heads full of rocks, Goomy and Goomboy are usually the clueless ones who help Luigi carry out his schemes. They're the easiest scouts at Camp Koopa to spot because they're constantly being followed by a big cloud of dirt (like Pig-Pen in the Peanuts comics) and flies. Goomy proudly wears his awards sash on his uniform to differentiate himself from Goomboy.

Bombette the Bob-Omb:
A clean freak, Bombette is usually seen with Luigi...but not often. She is a disaster just waiting to happen, because it seems that way. For example, we learn in "The Great Marioani" when "Madame Mario" correctly predicts with the hat on that Bombette will be hit with a volleyball, so throughout this episode, he wears a helmet and is hit by volleyballs. And in "Camp Koopa Stinks", we discover that she has a very sensitive nose only in this episode and refuses to go into the stinkweed with the others.

The Koopa Bros.
The team of Koopas gave up and joined Camp Koopa. These shell-colored Koopa Scout quadruplets named Kenny, Kirbo, Kaz and Kut-Tut. In "The Great Marioani", "Madame Mario" correctly predicted that they were allergic to his predictions, because this only happened because Watt was absent-mindedly waving the feather fan at the Koopa Bros' noses, making him sneeze. They also carried eliminated contestants from the pine-cone sitting contest in "Mud Puddle Showdown" via stretcher, and carry canoes in "Blooper Buddy" and "The Yoshi Blues". Meanwhile, they all ran away from Mario in "Mario's Secret Club" when he approached them.

The Shadow Scouts:
Across Koopa Lake at the Camp Sweet Campground, the female counterparts to the Goom Scouts, called the Shadow Scouts can be found. The three most commonly seen Shadow Scouts are Maryiln, the always hungry Shadow; Beldam, the scholary shadow and Vivian, the upbeat, chipper shadow and former Shadow Boxing champion who loves Mario and will jump on him at any chance she gets. Ms. Koopie Koo, the leader of the Shadow Scouts is the apple of Scoutmaster Bowser's eye, while her assistant, Wendy Koopa, a koopa who is personality wise worse than Bowser hates Koopa Scouts. Other scouts are mentioned off-screen by Koopie Koo, such as Toadette.

Guest Stars

Commander Goom-Bell {Goombella}:
Is the true leader of Camp Koopa. She gives inspections which brings the whole camp into a nervous wreck, and before hand was only mentioned in the series. That is, everyone except the Goom Scouts. The penalty for failing is no clean underwear for a year. He looks like a Goomba and her name comes from the military exclamation "Hoo-ha!" (or "Hoo-ah!").

Wandering Walnut Tree:
A tree that literally wanders from place to place. Once it arrives at Camp Koopa, both Bowser and Mario are enraptured that they have finally seen it. Although Bowser wants to chop it down to make a wooden boat, the Goom Scouts trick Bowser into marrying the tree, and Bowser falls in love with it. He is extremely sad when the tree wanders to Florida.

Bloopette:
Mario's temporary pet Blooper that clamped onto his head while he was swimming. The other scouts were wanting to get rid of it no matter what. She's also got a theme song. At the end of the episode, it was revealed that Bloopy was actually a Bloopette, due to the fact that she had babies which clamped onto the other scouts' heads. Later, she appeared in "Groom of Bloopette".

Rexy:
A baby Rex that Mario brought into camp so the scouts could ride on it. The words of the Bloopy Buddy song were altered for him. In the end, they let him run away.

Dodo:
Is the host of the Pilt Smart Game show as seen in "Watt: Gal Genius?". Later, he was the cook from "Gooms and Weenies" and "Faintly Fining Dining".

Lifeguards Pierre and No-Butt:
Are Camp Koopa's lifeguards and assign swimming buddies based on how they do in a test. One small problem, though: They have no idea how to swim.
