Canadaka.net (Canada Kicks Ass) is a Canadian content website and
discussion forum that was started in 1998 and now has become a
growing force on the Canadian cultural and political scene. It is
one of the largest Canadian discussion board websites, with nearly
20,000 members. The membership is worldwide and Canada-wide, with
some concentration in Canada's western provinces. The discussions
are mostly in English with some in French. The content ranges from
topical issues, politics, music, and humor. Québec and Alberta
separatist discussion regularly is featured. The recent Canadian
Federal elections were the basis for extended commentary from the
members, and made the website a valuable source for the latest
political news. The site is partly supported by advertising, partly
supported by free-will donations from both membership and anonymous
donors (listed on site), and partly supported by Trevor May
himself. The site was discussed as an influence on the
then-upcoming 2006 Canadian Parliamentary elections on CBC News and
on a CTV political programme. The creator of this item posted it to
Wikipedia as the site itself has become news in Canada and the
anticipation that the site will become newsworthy yet again in the
future.

What is Canadaka.net About?
Canadaka(.net) and CKA
stand for "Canada Kicks Ass". Canadaka.net is a site to promote
Canadian patriotism, nationalism, Canadian sovereignty and
democracy. A Canadian portal offering news, pictures, forums,
shopping, downloads, babes and much more Canadian
content.
Site history
The site was created by and still
is operated by Trevor May. Trevor started Canada Kicks Ass site way
back in 1998. After learning basic html, he made the first version
of Canada Kicks Ass on good old geocities, everyone starts out on
geocities right! The site was a simple static site, like most
geocities site are/were. The site then bounced around on different
free hosting, staying a basic html site.
Sometime in 1999 the
site was redone into a php/mysql driven site, this starts the CKA
community.

archive.org Then on October 30th
2001 Canadaka.net was registered. The site remained fairly small
until Trevor spent time developing the site more and promoting it
in 2002. This was when the forums on the site started and slowly
grew larger, now the forums are one of the largest Canadian forums
on the internet.
Since the beginning Canadaka.net has had a
Canadian Babes section. With the growth of the site the gallery
grew as well and became one of the most popular parts of the site.
Due to the adult nature of the Babe galleries at the start of 2006
they were moved off Canadaka.net to their own dedicated site
