A Canadian corporation is a corporation chartered under the laws of Canada.

Overview

The main law regulating the incorporation in Canada is Canada Business Corporations Act (CBCA), since 1975. The government agency that is responsible for incorporating is Corporations Canada. The incorporation is either federal or provincial/territorial.[1]
