In a small rural town, a man roams the streets, his apparent search for a suitable partner runs without success.
On the internet, he continues to search, he's looking for meat, and he finds a willing victim. The man meets the young man in the open field and entertains him on his farm. One of them will pay with his body, the other with the loneliness.
The film portrayed the true story of Armin Meiwes (Carsten Frank) and his victim (Victor Brandl) who was eating from the Cannibal.[1]
The film is based on the true story of Armin Meiwes who killed and eat a man who he met on the Internet.[2]
The US Brooklyn, New York based Glam rock band The Flesh composed three songs for the official soundtrack.
The DVD was impounded pursuant to § 184a StGB in Germany on 29 June 2007, through to the true violence.[3]
