Captain Kirby 2, or more commonly known and refered to as "Captured in France" is an extremely low budget World War Two comedy film created and performed by what look to be minors. They remain anonymous. It is possable that the makers intended to make the film appear amature to add humor to it. Most of the comedy in the movie is physical. To make it appear that there were more actors, muzzleflashed were added in the distance in one of the scenes. Possably the most impressive feature is the extensive runtime at some 46 minutes.

Plot Summary

Captain Kirby 2 "Captured in France" is about two United States Army soldiers (Captain Kirby and Sergeant Farcus), during the Second World War, who are assigned by the OSS (Office of Strategic Services) to find and capture a German Luftwaffe (airforce) officer, Otto von Raitel. In the process, Kirby and Farcus get captured. The are taken to a German interrogation facility in the Normandy countryside for questioning. During a prison transfer, they manage to escape do to a luck Allied Artillery strike. Somehow, they end up in the middle of a small skirmish fighting against Raitel and one of his henchmen, Schultz. Kirby and Farcus end up with their guns pointed at Raitel. When a squadron of Stuka dive bombers straif the ground where the US Soldiers are standing, Raitel gets away. 20 years later, in Brazil, Kirby is a full bird colonel and Farcus is a Major. Somehow Raitel has become the Minister of Forein affairs in Brazil. At first Kirby does not remember Raitel but then he does, and procedes to do away with Raitel (who is now about 70). Raitel survives.

Movie Trivia

The substance that was used to make the 70 year old version of von Raitel appear to have white hair was baby powder.

Captain Kirby is wore sneakers for the entire time he was in his camo uniform

Although supposed to be in the Army, Farcus' hat is acctually a marine corps hat.

The so called "drink" that Raitel and Kirby are sipping in the last scene of the movie is simply red food coloring and water.

All of the insignia on the SS uniforms were paper

Schultz's potato masher grenade was actually just a black-spray painted soda can on a tree branch

The the rifle that was used by both Kirby and Raitel was a BB gun

Raitels "1944" German uniform was actually from the 1970s

In different parts of the movie, Raitel's hair appears longer than in others

The person who played the SS agent at the beginning of the movie also played the OSS agent, and the CIA agent at the end of the movie.
