The Cara Institute of
Advanced Hypnosis is a private
hypnosis college headquartered in
Cambridge,
Massachusetts,
USA. The
Cara
Institute's primary objective is to understand the
unconscious mind
through the use of
hypnosis.
Operations
There are three
main branches of the institution;
Research,
Education, and Application. Through creative
initiative, the
Cara Institute engages
research activities
with experimental and scholarly methods. The
research result is then organized
to
educate other experts
in the
hypnotism
field. Hypnotist and hypnotherapist can use what they have learnt
from the Cara Institute in their private practices. The data and
field
evidence
gathered from these
hypnotist will guide the
Cara Institute to engage in
further research. This
cycle
of
knowledge serves
to facilitate the advancement of the
hypnotism field.

Policy
The
Cara Institute maintains an open
door
policy. Anyone who
wants to learn
hypnosis is
welcome to its
classroom. Anyone who want to solve their problem
through
hypnosis are
welcome to a private
hypnotherapy session, and anyone who wishes to
contribute the
research process are invited for their input. This
unique policy allows the
Cara Institute to
absorb
experiences from a wide
spectrum of
socio-economic background.

History
The Institute was
founded by Bernard Yam at the age of 21. The Insitute is fully
accredited by the
National Guild of Hypnotist and
an active member of the Hypnotist
Union (
AFL-CIO Local 104). The institute's
NLP training program is recongized by the
NF-NLP (National Federation of
Neuro Lingistic Programming ).
