Her play "Memories then Fickelness" earned praise in 2005 from Gay and Lesbian Association against Defamation in the Media and her play was also nominated for an Outer Circle Critics Award.
Carrie now resides in the suburbs of San Diego which conveniently provides a conducive atmosphere for talented playwrights.
