Carter Morgan is a student in the 7th Grade "Block 2" EXCEL
Language Arts and Social Studies class at Pacific Middle School in
Vancouver Washington.
Personality
Carter Morgan is
actually very bright despite his constant struggle to keep his
grades up in his classes. His major problem is that he is a slacker
and would prefer to have fun than to do his work. This usually
results in a mad rush to complete all of his work either at the end
of the period or at the end of the trimester.
Carter is witty
and funny and loves to be the life of the party. He is usually
distraught and angry when he is not and will try everything in his
power to become the life of the party again. He enjoys the fact
that he is usually viewed as the "class clown" and thinks that it
"gives him a step up in the competition".
Carter is usually a
very happy kid and will try to always stay away from depression. He
claims that he "only has small slots of his time for depression and
those are usually spent on his bed while listening to his
iPod".
Friendships
Carter likes to be friends with anyone
in the EXCEL class (with the exception of a few individuals)and
usually has some sort of joke or witticism to break the ice. He is
at first very shy until he has gotten to the environment and then
is quite friendly and cheerful. This is shown in electives when he
is shy and quiet because he is unfamiliar with the surroundings.
Carter is best friends with LeAnn Nguyen and Brandon Treglown.
Other close friends include Tyler Anderson, Jonathan Robertson,
Nathan Nicholson (though there friendship has had rough spots),
Darin Chhing, and Zach Renfro.
Spencer Kelly
Carter has
an interesting relationship with Spencer Kelly. He feels
sympathetic for him when others make fun of him but has regret for
it because Spencer usually makes fun of him for a cheap laugh.
Carter is often pressured into saying his dislike for Spencer
because he fears for his social status. Spencer and Carter used to
be friends in 6th grade until Carter got ticked off and broke apart
the friendship. Spencer usually stalks Carter.
