CarVision.com is just like any other Public company on here. I bought a car from CarVision and i feel as if i need to inform people how the organization works.

CarVision.com is a pre-owned car website that sells about 200 cars a month out of their main location in Norristown, Pennsylvania. The company is privately owned by owners Dean and Carrie Cafiero. The company evolved from a small dealership on a corner lot with about 15 cars (mostly Japonese) to a much larger mainstream facility with over 500 cars on site.

CarVision.com's taglines are "The best used-car website on the planet" and "500 plus Pre-Owned cars for less".

The Origins of CarVision.com

The company traces its origins back to 1995 when CarVision.com first opened it's doors on popular Markley street in Norristown. CarVision.com instantly became a town favorite, Eight years later they moved a block away to a "bigger and better" location. Since then the company has grown to always stock around 550-600 cars, with usually with approximately 500 ready for sale. The company is owned by a husband and wife team. What that entails is: low overhead equals low prices. Doing everything on-site from Service, Body Work, Detailing, and online pictures allows CarVision.com to have the lowest prices of any dealership withing a 250 mile radius.

Success Explained

The reason for CarVision.com's ongoing success is a mixture of variables. Firstly the way CarVision.com's pricing strategy is unique. The owners price the car aggressively and advertises the lowest possible price they are willing to sell the car for. Unlike most used-car dealerships that mark-up the price of a car and when haggled by a customer, bring the price down to their original "lowest price". The reason CarVision.com does this is because most of their advertising budget goes into Online Advertising. If a person logs onto the web to search for an used car they are most likely to visit the bigger car search engines like Ebay Motors, autotrader.com, usedcars.com and others they can find at least 50 of the same exact cars they are looking within a close-to-home radius. This is where advertising your lowest possible price comes into play. When a person sees 50 different places selling the car he searched for the very first thing the notice as to narrow down dealership selection is the price
