The Cascade is the newspaper for the University College of the Fraser Valley. It started in 1993.

History

The Cascade started in 1993 as part of the student union and gained autonomy in 2002. The Cascade has had a tumultuous relationship with mediocrity. However, Meaghan McBride began her reign as Editor-in-Chief in 2003 and along with Jordan Van Spronsen, Layout Manager, she turned the paper into something worth reading. She left this past April to pursue her studies more vigorously, but the crew are working hard to foster that spirit of quality workmanship. A website is in the works.
