Caschera is an Italian surname attested in the
village of Broccostella in Latium.
Also, a group of legandary figures who
trace their lineage back to Julius Caesar, Aeneas, and Venus of
antiquity. Supposedly nursed by a pack of lions on the banks of the
Fibreno River. They have been accredited with the founding of
Brocco, later called Broccostella, during the first century AD as a
Roman fortification aimed to keeping a close eye on the Volscian
town of Sora until 303 when it confirmed its annexation.
