Cask Thomson is the self-titled full-length album released by Christian Electro-pop artist Cask Thomson. The album peaked at #58 on the Australian Independent Charts. It began streaming live on Social Networking site Myspace three weeks prior to release date. The album was recorded in Sydney, Australia. An E.P titled "36.3% of Cask Thomson" was released digitally free of charge containing tracks 2,5,8 and 11[1][2] It is believed by most Cask Thomson fans that the album was a Concept album with Thomson confirming that his music is Progressive and that the album was intended to describe a stage of events, However no clarification was made that the album is actually a Concept
In an interview with Australian Christian radio station Hope FM, Thomson stated that a follow up to the album would be written and released late either 2010 or early 2011, And that the album would not contain as much use of his signature use of AutoTune[3]
On 4th March 2010, An official video was released for the track "There For You". The track is the only single released with a Music Video.[4] The single was written about depression, with all sales on iTunes donated to Australian Mental Illness Charity "BeyondBlue
