Catte Adams, is an American singer-songwriter. She was the
female vocalist champion during season two of Star Search in
1983-'84. She subsequently toured the US as a solo artist and as a
featured act with artists such as the great Liberace, Bob Hope, George Burns, Gary Shandling, Don Rickles, and Joan Rivers. She has
toured and/or recorded with Michael Bolton, Neil Young, Natalie Cole, Chaka Khan, Tracy Chapman, Celine Dion, Nancy Wilson, and Stevie Wonder,
among others. Adams appears on the live concert video recorded in
India at the Taj Mahal, and inside the Gates of The Forbidden City
in China, with Yanni, Tribute. She has made
appearances on numerous television shows such as Late Night with David
Letterman and The Tonight Show. Her songs have been
recorded by Diane
Schuur, The Pointer Sisters, Jonathan
Butler, Patti Labelle, Carl Anderson, Brenda Russell, and David Mann for GRP
records. She is currently the host of "LA JAZZ " a syndicated TV
music program that has over 20 million viewers in Europe. Catte
Adams also enjoys a vigorous recording session and live performance
career in Los Angeles, where she makes her home. She has written

This year she is releasing for 2009 a new CD project in the NU-Jazz
style, with arrangements by her husband and co-writer Marc
Hugenberger.
