Some people have been mistakenly thought to be combat veterans who actually are not.
A combat verteran is anyone who has served in one of the military branches during a time of active military conflict, whether or not they served in the theatre of combat operations.
Due to some politicians desire to be elected they will allow or even encourage people to think they have done more with their lives than they have.
This includes the delution that they are combat Veterans.
Executive officials:
Former President Ronald Reagan due to poor eyesight, served in a noncombat role making movies for the Army in southern California during WWII giving many a reason to think he had actualy been in combat.
Secretary of Defense Don Rumsfeld served in the U.S.
Navy (1954-57) as an aviator and flight instructor.
Has been refered to as a "Korean war vet"
Chuck Norris was a Base MP in South Korea after the truce had been declared.
Due to he frequently playing the role of a war hero most people assume he fought in Vietnam.
Fred Rogers the subject of an Urban Legend Mr. Rogers was never in the military.
Sylvester Stallone avoided Vietnam by coaching girls vollyball in Europe.
Due to Rambo many people think he served.
