& colleges. The sole objective behind this community is to
visually represent a concept, thought and worked upon by an artist.
Ranging from a still image to a moving sequence, it’s all about
showcasing a story technically and creatively perceived in one's
mind.
cgTantra proves as an extension in enhancing the state of
creative digital arts worldwide. It supports artists at all level
by offering a wide range of services to connect, inform, educate,
aspire, enhance and promote, by celebrating achievement, excellence
and innovation in all aspects of digital art.
cgTantra is
unbiased in its enthusiastic support of all genres, styles, tools
& outlooks. It supports innumerable chapters catering to
different professional and student categories including Film,
Games, Concept design, Visualization, Architectural visualization,
Illustration, and more.
cgTantra acts as a paradigm in binding
together the entire community that supports supplies and enjoys
their endeavors inclusive of its creative and technical
entities.

producers, educationalists and hardware developers.
It provides
exposure to the upcoming digital artists, on the other hand

cgTantra believes in the philosophy of Learn, Believe
and Grow which we share among all our members that form this ever
growing pool of talent in the form of Discussion forums, Tutorials
and workshops, Image Showcases, Artist Galleries, Interviews of
artists, Production coverage's, Contest and Challenges, job offers
etc. cgTantra has always been an active partner in various events
organized by the different Digital Graphic communities. It has been
actively associated with events like ABAI FEST, IAD, ANIFEST,
24FPS, and has always takes a first stand in organizing events and
associating with the events involving the leading Production
studios and Professionals. CgTantra celebrated its second
anniversary on a grand scale on 3rd december'2006 in Mumbai marked
by the presence of Kamal Mistry, Technical Director, Pixar
Animation Studios with a session on "Making of CARS", Mike Seymour,
Emmy Nominated Visual Effects Artist from Sydney and many more from
the likes. There was also a 5 day 'Renderman Workshop' taken by
Malcolm Kesson, RenderMan Training specialist as well as by Kamal
Mistry. Studio Professionals from all over the country attended it
with a rigorous session of putting Renderman to use.
The purpose
is to creatively interact with the counterparts and professionals
and exchange some tips and tricks and update oneself with the new
skills of the field.
With the ever burning passionate desire and
with the onset of new hardware and software tools, cgTantra
believes in providing the artist, technical expertise over the
digital tools by preserving the traditional skills of a creative
digital artist. It adheres in its perspective to let an artist go
beyond their current state of artistic skills and in turn,
excelling the panorama of the creative digital arts.
Moreover,
cgTantra turns out to be the most resourceful way for a creative
digital artist to upgrade its individual skills in turn adding on
to the collective goals of the community-making them "TANTRIKS" in
its true sense….
