"Chapelgate," also known as "CG" is a neighborhood found in suburban Odenton, Maryland. The area was developed in the early 1970's and consists of duplex style homes. It has also been referred to as "Ghetto-gate", "The Gate", "Niggerville", "The Ghetto", "The Real O-Town" or even "Odenton Shit" due to its low income families, section 8 homes, and recent increase in crime and poverty. Selling drugs has become very popular through teens in the community in the past several years as well as drug use and an out of control rate of teen violence.<br /><br />
