Charles Albert Zehnder was born circa 1863 in Switzerland and died after 1894 at the age of 30 years of unspecified causes. Charles Albert married Anna Louise Egger in Switzerland.
Not much is known about Charles. It is said his father was a watchmaker in Bern, Switzerland. Around 1894/95 Charles is said to have gone to South Africa to try to make his fortune in the gold rush there. It is also said that later he wrote to Anna saying that he wanted to get back together with her but her family hid the letters. Nothing else is known.
