Chiba Station (åƒè‘‰é§… Chiba-eki) is a railway station located in Chiba, Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

The station opened on 20 July 1894.[1] The present station building was built in 1963. Rebuilding work is scheduled to start in January 2010, with the new station building opening in fiscal 2015.[2]
