Chris Fox was born on September 11, 1987 in
Westwood, Massachusetts.
He attended
Xaverian Brothers High School where he competed in
track,
basketball, and
football.
Chris Fox is one of the most pretentious high schoolers in the country, writing about himself in wikipedia even though his life is about as unimportant as they come.
Before the 2005 season, Fox was ranked as the 6th best player in
New England and 38th best
prospect at his position by rivals.com.
Fox was ranked 2nd best football player in
New England and 10th best skilled athlete in the country by superprep.com.
Tom Lemming ranked Fox as the 41st best prospect in the country, greatly contrasting with rival's assesment.
Fox's own thoughts on his playing ability:
----
"I'd say my strengths are my technique, hands and speed.
I'm probably faster than I am quick (22.5 200m/6.6 55m).
I would say I need to work on my tackling.
These schools want me for both cornerback and safety.
It doesn't make any difference to me.
"

In 2005 he led the
Hawks to the MIAA Division 1 Super Bowl, where he and Hawks fell short to
Brockton High School.
Fox played an outstanding game, aside from dropping a game-winning touchdown pass as time expired (while being covered by Brockton's All-Scholastic
Quarterback Jessy Resende).
In 2005 Fox was named Division 1 Player of the Year by
The Boston Globe and was named an All-Scholastic by both
The Boston Globe and
The Boston Herald.
In Fox's career he amassed over 1500 receiving yards, 410 rushing yards, 25 touchdowns and 7 intereceptions.
Fox will play football at
Boston College, beginning in September of 2006.
He played one season with
Boston College defensive lineman
Keith Willis Jr.; he also played two seasons with
Duke quarterback Zack Asack.
His father is
Tim Fox, former
All-Pro and
first-round pick of the
New England Patriots.
