Chris Soar is a English singer/songwriter, from Thames Ditton England. He was in the Anglo-Norweigan band Flanplop. With the band he won a BRIT Award for 'British breakthrough act' in 2001. They were formed by band manager Tim Byrne, who also formed STEPS and FingerBang. In 2001 the band toured Asia, where Chris was extremely well-received. During the Indonesian leg of their tour in the Taman Anggrek Mall, three teenage girls were killed in a stampede, caused by Chris walking up close to the barrier of the crowd and taking his top off. He was raised single handedly by his aunt Diana, before erupting onto the pop scene in 1997. Chris Soar has been credited with writing the Flanplop song "No More".

Since 2004 Chris has lived in Bermuda with his partner, Hillary. He is currently in the process of becoming a trained pilot. From 10th of March 2008 he changed his Christian name to Moses, after becoming a devoutly religious.
